Keep your faith private unless someone asks directly

Try to carry out the mission by your own strength alone

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and cannot make myself right with God. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for my sins and rose again. Thank you for bringing me into the peace of your presence. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, and I receive your life and your sending for me. Amen.

Receive Me as Lord and Savior

Father, revive your Church with the peace of Christ. Where we have become anxious, passive, or self-protective, send us again as Jesus was sent: in humility, obedience, and love. Make us a people who carry your peace and answer your call, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in Peace and Mission

Lord, when my heart feels unsettled, let the peace Jesus spoke settle over me. Quiet my fear, steady my thoughts, and help me trust that being sent by you comes with your own presence, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Peace for Uncertain Hearts

Name one place where you feel uncertain. Ask Jesus for his peace first, then ask him where he is sending you and what one obedient step to take today.

Pray for Your Next Step

Give thanks that the Father sent Jesus, and that Jesus now sends his followers too. Thank him for a mission that begins in divine love, not human ambition, and for peace that goes with the call.

Pray for the people and places where Jesus is sending you this week: that they would be open, that you would be gentle and faithful, and that his peace would be evident in your words and actions.
