Father, awaken your Church to the reality of who Jesus is. Where our worship has become routine, renew awe; where our confession has been vague, give us clarity; where our obedience has been delayed, give us quick and glad surrender. Make us a people who speak with Thomas's honesty and worship with Thomas's joy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Your Church to Confess Christ Clearly

Lord, forgive me for the times I have called you important but not fully surrendered to you. Forgive my divided heart and my independent spirit. Teach me to mean what I say when I call you Lord, and lead me into a life that matches my confession, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

No More Half-Hearted Confession

Father, thank you that you receive honest confession and do not turn away sincere seekers. Thank you that Jesus is truly Lord and truly God, worthy of my trust, my worship, and my obedience, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Receiving Honest Worship

Begin by naming one area where you have held back control—work, relationships, money, plans, or hidden motives. Thank God that Jesus is Lord, then ask for courage to obey what he shows you today.
