Move toward Jesus promptly, with humility and readiness

Wait until everything feels settled before responding

Keep your distance and watch without changing anything

Stay focused on other tasks and respond later if there is time

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I turn from my sin and I believe you died for me and rose again. I confess that you are Lord, and I trust you to forgive me, make me new, and lead my life from this day forward. Amen.

Come to Know the Lord

Lord, revive your Church to recognize Jesus quickly and to speak with bold faith when he is near. Free us from delay, dullness, and divided hearts, and make us eager to move toward you with humble obedience, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Your Church to Recognize You

Lord, thank you that you do not leave us guessing, but make Jesus known to your people. Thank you for the witness that points us to him and for the mercy that calls us to respond, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thanks for Making Yourself Known

Pray by naming one area where you have been slow to respond, ask Jesus to make his leading clear, and then ask for one immediate step of obedience you can take today.

Pray for a Faster Yes

Bring these before God: quick trust, humble readiness, courage to move toward Jesus, and freedom from hesitation when he is made known.

Eager Hearts and Ready Hands

Lord, open the eyes of those around me who have heard about Jesus but have not yet recognized him. Let them know that he is the Lord, and give them the grace to turn toward him without fear, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Therefore the disciple whom Jesus  loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord .” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his outer garment around himself, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea.
