7. Formal Translation
Therefore the disciple whom Jesus {Iesous, Covenant Friend} loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord {Kyrios, Risen Master}.” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his outer garment around himself, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea.
7. Dynamic Translation
Then the disciple loved by Jesus {Iesous, Compassionate Teacher} said to Peter, “That is the Lord {Kyrios, Divine Leader}!” When Simon Peter realized that it was the Lord, he tied his outer robe around himself, because he had been working without it, and jumped into the water.
