Serve only from a distance so no one needs your presence

Leave the personal care to someone else while you focus on the work

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive you as my Lord. Lead me to follow you and keep me close to you as your disciple. Amen.

Come and Follow Jesus

Lord, revive your Church to go where you send us, to stay with people instead of passing by, and to serve with patient faithfulness. Make us a people who minister together and reflect your nearness to the world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Our Shared Ministry

Pray by naming one place, person, or ministry step God is leading you toward. Ask for grace to go obediently, stay faithfully, and keep serving once you arrive.

Pray for the Next Step

Bring these to God: new disciples who need steady companions; churches that will welcome and stay with people; leaders who serve without rushing away.

For People Learning the Way

Father, thank you that Jesus stayed with his disciples and served among them. Thank you that your work is near, patient, and shared. Help me receive your nearness today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank God for His Nearness

Bring these before God: the urge to hurry past people; the grace to remain with them; the joy of serving side by side in ordinary faithfulness.
