Come to the One John Pointed To

Lord, revive your Church so we speak clearly about Jesus and rejoice when people move toward him. Deliver us from rivalry, insecurity, and pride. Make us faithful witnesses who are glad to step aside when your Son is honored, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Our Witness

Father, thank you for every person who has spoken truth about Jesus and helped others come to him. Make us grateful for the fruit of their witness and eager to bless it, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Faithful Witnesses

Father, I confess that I often compare myself with others and want attention for what I have done. Forgive me for rivalry and self-importance. Teach me to find joy when others are drawn to Jesus, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Free Me from Comparison

Begin by naming one person you want to point to Jesus. Ask God to help you speak clearly, humbly, and without drawing attention to yourself. Then ask him to let your words make room for Christ rather than for your own name.

Pray Before You Speak

Pray for people who are moving toward Jesus right now: that distractions would fade, honest questions would be answered, and their hearts would keep turning toward him. Pray also for patience to let God do his work in them, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
