If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I am not the Christ and that I have sinned. I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Lead my life and make me yours. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord

Lord, revive your Church to be humble enough to point away from itself and clear enough to name Jesus. Where we have wanted attention, strip it away; where we have blurred the message, sharpen our witness; where we have forgotten that we are sent, send us again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Us a Clear Witness

Father, forgive me for acting as if I were the center. Teach me to gladly take a smaller place if it helps others see your Son, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Self-Importance

Pray by naming one area where you crave attention, confessing that Jesus is the Christ, and asking for one humble action that will make him clearer to others.

Pray to Point to Christ

Pray for one person who needs to hear about Jesus, that you may speak plainly, kindly, and without drawing attention to yourself.

For a Clear Witness

Thank God that Jesus is the Christ, and that he gives his people the grace to bear witness to him without becoming the center.

Thanks for the True Christ
