The person God sent speaks the message that comes from God.

The messenger mainly echoes the surrounding crowd.

God gives the Spirit only in a limited amount.

Speak only after you feel completely certain.

Use religious language even when the content is unclear.

Rely mainly on your own instincts and style.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I believe you were sent by God, that you died for my sins and rose again, and that you speak the truth of God. I turn from my sin and trust you with my life. Fill me with your Spirit and be my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Receive the One God Sent

Lord, revive your Church. Where we have relied on our own ideas, bring us back to your message. Where we have spoken with fear or pride, fill us with your Spirit without measure. Make us faithful, bold, and loving witnesses of your truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Speak Your Word

Give thanks that God does not ration his Spirit, that his supply is generous, and that he equips those he sends to speak his word with truth and strength.

Thank You for Generous Supply

Pray by naming one conversation you face soon, asking God to put his words in your mouth, and asking the Spirit to keep you from self-reliance, confusion, or careless speech.

Ask for Faithful Speech

Pray for someone who needs to hear God's truth clearly, for openness to receive it, and for your words to carry God's truth rather than pressure or performance.

For Those Needing God's Message

Bring before God any place where you feel empty, limited, or unsure. Ask him to teach you daily dependence on his Spirit, to give you confidence in his supply, and to shape your speech with his wisdom.
