If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to rule my own life. I need the Father's mercy and your saving grace. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin, confess you as my Lord, and ask you to bring my life under your loving rule. Thank you for receiving me. Amen.

Come Under Your Loving Rule

Father, revive your church to love the Son as you do. Where we have resisted his rule, bring repentance; where we have grown casual, awaken reverence; where we have kept parts of life for ourselves, teach us joyful surrender. Make us a people who gladly live under the Son's loving rule, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Us to Honor the Son

Father, thank you for loving the Son and for placing everything in his care. Thank you that nothing is beyond his reach or outside his wise rule. Teach me to trust your goodness and to rest in what you have entrusted to him, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Loving and Entrusting

Pray by naming one area of life you tend to control, ask the Father to place it under the Son's wise rule, and then choose one concrete step of obedience for today.

Place One Area Under His Rule

Pray for someone who sees Jesus as only a helper, that they would recognize his true authority, trust his love, and yield to him gladly.

For Someone Still Holding Back

Bring these to God: awe for the Father's love, gratitude for the Son's authority, and a willingness to let every area of life come under Jesus' care.
