If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived by my own strength. I cannot make myself new. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive you as my Lord and Savior. Make me new by your Spirit and give me the life only you can give. Amen.

Receive New Life

Father, revive your Church where we have depended on human strength, outward habit, and our own ability. Breathe your Spirit into us again. Make us a people who bear the mark of your life within, not mere religious effort, so that our words and deeds come from you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church by the Spirit

Holy Spirit, I confess that I cannot make myself spiritually alive. Free me from trusting my own effort, and work your renewing life in the places that feel dry or stuck. Shape my thoughts, my desires, and my choices so they come from you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Me New Within

Bring these to God: the places where you trust your own strength; habits that keep you in outward religion only; the need to confess that human effort cannot produce spiritual life.

Turning from Self-Reliance

Pray by naming one area where you need new life, asking the Spirit to work there, and then asking for one small step of obedience today.

Praying for Spirit-Given Change

Give thanks for the Spirit's power to make new life, for God not leaving people as they are, and for the hope of real change that human effort cannot create.

Thank You for New Birth
