Lord, wake your Church from surprise and self-confidence. Give us humble hearts that know we need your life, not just better habits. Breathe heavenly newness into weary believers, and make us a people who welcome your transforming work and point others to Christ, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church From Above

Father, thank you that you do not leave us trapped in old ways. Thank you that you can give what we cannot produce: a fresh beginning from above. Help me receive your gift with faith and gratitude, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray by naming one area where you need God's renewing work, asking him to soften your pride, and then asking for one concrete step of obedience you can take today.

Pray for a Fresh Start

Bring these to God: the places where you keep trying to fix yourself; the fear of admitting need; the habit of treating his call as less urgent than it is.

Let Go of Self-Reliance

Pray for: a friend who is stuck in old patterns; someone who assumes change depends only on willpower; a gentle opening for that person to hear Jesus' call to be made new.
