Worship God mainly through strong feelings, even if the heart is divided.

Worship God privately so it never affects daily life.

Those who worship God must do so with inward sincerity and truthfulness.

Truth can be ignored if the worshiper feels sincere.

Speak honestly to God and let your life match what you say.

Rely mainly on the right setting and routine while your heart remains unchanged.

Use worship words that sound right even if you are not being truthful.

Keep worship private so it never affects everyday choices.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from empty religion and from trusting myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Make me new, and teach me to worship the Father in spirit and in truth. Amen.

Come to the God Who Is Spirit

Lord, revive your Church. Free us from performance, awaken reverence, and fill us with your Spirit so our worship is honest, alive, and true. Let our praise come from changed hearts and our daily lives match what we confess, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Our Worship

Thank God that he is not limited by walls, distance, or outward show. Give thanks for a God who sees the heart, welcomes honest worship, and is near wherever his people seek him in truth.

Thank You for Being Spirit

Father, I confess that I often bring words without truth and habits without a living heart. Forgive my pretense, cleanse me, and teach me to worship you with sincerity inside and out, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for people who see God as distant or only religious: that they would encounter him as living Spirit, that churches would lead with truth, and that your own witness would point others to sincere worship.
