Waiting until the conversation is over before acting

His deepest satisfaction comes from carrying out God's purpose

He speaks of bringing the assigned work to completion

Doing the One who sent him’s purpose is as necessary to him as food is to life

He turns to God's work only after personal needs are fully satisfied

He means physical eating no longer matters to anyone

He values the work mainly because it earns admiration

Treat God's assignment as central and keep going until it is completed

Do whatever feels manageable now and leave the rest for another day

Collect many good activities, even if the main responsibility remains unfinished

Wait until motivation feels strong before obeying

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I need your mercy and your saving grace. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord. Teach me to desire the Father's will and to follow you in it. Make me yours and lead my life from this day forward. Amen.

Come to Jesus and His Will

Lord, revive your Church with the same hunger Jesus showed for your will. Where we have chased comfort, renew our desire to obey you. Where we have started much and finished little, give us endurance to complete the work you entrust to us. Make your people eager for your purpose and faithful to carry it through, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
