Lord, awaken your Church to see the real places and the real people others pass by. Give us attentive eyes, compassionate hearts, and willing hands. Keep us from rushing past need, and make us faithful to the ordinary places where mercy is needed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Notice the Overlooked

Father, thank you that you see real cities, real places, and real details. Thank you that nothing is too ordinary for your care. Help me receive your word with attention and gratitude, and teach me to notice the places and people you place before me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray by naming one place you pass often and one detail you usually ignore. Ask God to help you see it clearly, to slow your heart, and to show you one wise response of kindness or care.

Pray with Slower Attention

Pray for: people waiting for help in hidden or ordinary places; those whose needs are easy to miss; and the courage for believers to notice, approach, and serve with mercy.

Bring these to God: a desire to read Scripture more carefully; patience with small details; and a habit of honoring the places, names, and numbers that the Bible gives.
