If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and need your rescue. I turn from my sin and from trusting myself. Lord, revive your Church so we stop chasing human approval and start listening to the words of Christ. Make us people who trust the gospel, speak it clearly, and call others to the salvation you give. Wake us from every dullness, and let your saving truth ring through us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Give thanks for Jesus' words that are not aimed at winning human testimony but at our rescue. Praise God for speaking truth that saves and for the mercy that comes before our response.
