Being satisfied with praise from other people

Waiting for a different teacher to explain things

Having no interest in spiritual matters at all

Make choices that aim first at God's approval, even when others reward something else

Keep collecting praise from people, trusting that sincerity will make it enough

Wait for others to affirm your choices before you act

Avoid any strong convictions so nobody disapproves

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have lived for the approval of people and have sinned against God. I turn from my sin and from trusting human praise to define me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and ask you to lead my life. Give me faith that seeks the honor that comes from God alone. Amen.

Trusting Jesus Above Human Praise

Lord, awaken your Church from chasing praise and approval. Turn our hearts from human applause to your glory, and make us a people who trust you with simple, steady faith. Let our worship, choices, and witness honor you above all else, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

A Church That Seeks Your Honor

Father, I confess how often I look for my worth in other people's praise. Free me from the fear of disapproval and teach me to seek the honor that comes from you alone. Make my heart steady in your love, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Free Me from People-Pleasing

Pray by naming one decision where you feel pressure to impress others. Ask God to show you whether that choice seeks human praise or his honor, then ask for courage to do what pleases him first.

Pray Before You Seek Approval

Thank God that his approval is not fragile, crowded, or dependent on performance. Thank him that he sees the heart, gives real honor, and invites faith that is not trapped by other people's opinions.

Thank You for a Better Approval

Pray for believers who feel pushed to fit in, impress, or stay silent. Ask God to strengthen them to believe with courage, to resist the pull of human praise, and to seek only the honor that comes from him.
