If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and from living for myself, and I confess you as Lord. Even when others are divided about you, I want to belong to you. Come into my life and make me yours. Amen.

Receive Jesus in the Midst of Division

Lord, revive your Church where we have become split over lesser things. Put Jesus at the center again, soften hard hearts, and teach us to listen with humility and speak with grace. Make us one so that our love for Christ is clearer than our arguments, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Unite Your Church Around Jesus

Pray for: a family, church, or friendship currently strained by disagreement about Jesus; humility to value the person more than the argument; and courage to pursue peace without hiding the truth.

A Prayer for Divided Relationships

Name the disagreement honestly, ask God to guard you from pride, ask for words that are both clear and gentle, and ask for the grace to honor Jesus more than winning.

How to Pray in a Divided Conversation

Father, when people around me disagree about Jesus, keep me steady and kind. Free me from fear, anger, and the need to win, and help me answer with patience and truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Calm My Heart When Opinions Collide

Pray for: an opportunity to speak about Jesus plainly; ears to hear what others are really thinking; and a gracious witness that does not add to the division but points people to him.
