Lord, when pressure rises and hostility surrounds your people, revive your church. Keep us from joining the spirit of anger, strengthen us to stand with courage and gentleness, and let our witness remain faithful even when others try to silence it, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People Under Pressure

Father, protect those who are exposed to hostility because they follow Jesus. Hold them steady when others want to harm or silence them, and let no attack be allowed to cut short your purpose for them, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Keep Your People Safe

Pray by naming one situation where anger or group pressure is strong. Ask God for a calm heart, a steady conscience, and the courage to step back from harm and choose what is right.

Pray for Restraint in the Moment

Give thanks for God's restraint over evil plans; for Jesus' safety in the face of hostility; for times when harmful pressure did not win; and for the gift of a steady heart that does not rush into cruelty.

Thank God for His Preserving Hand

Pray for those who resist Jesus: softened hearts, truth that reaches them, freedom from anger and fear, and mercy that turns hostility into repentance.

For Those Who Oppose Jesus
