Some Pharisees reject the man because he does not keep the Sabbath.

Decide the issue is pointless because disagreement proves nothing can be known.

Pray by naming one disagreement that has been weighing on you. Ask God to keep you from quick conclusions, to show you what is from him, and to give you a calm heart that listens before speaking.

Bring to God the relationships that feel strained by disagreement, the need to keep listening with respect, and the grace to seek unity without pretending truth does not matter.

Lord, thank you for the signs that reveal your heart and your work. Keep me from missing what you are doing because I am clinging to my own opinions. Teach me to receive your truth with gratitude and humility, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Confess before God any tendency to decide too fast, to trust appearances, or to divide before listening. Ask him to soften your heart, sharpen your discernment, and make you willing to be corrected.
