9. Formal Translation
And the boundary went down to the wadi Kanah; south of the wadi these cities belonged to Ephraim in the midst of the cities of Manasseh, and the boundary of Manasseh was on the north side of the wadi, and its outgoings were toward the sea.
9. Dynamic Translation
The boundary went down to the Kanah Ravine. The towns on the south side of the ravine, amid the towns of Manasseh, belonged to Ephraim. Manasseh’s border remained on the north side of the ravine and ended at the sea.
