| 8. Formal Translation On the fifth day, he rose early in the morning to depart, but the father of the young woman said, “Please refresh your heart, and delay yourselves until the day inclines.” So the two of them ate together. |
| 8. Dynamic Translation Early on the morning of the fifth day he got up to leave, but the young woman’s father said, “Have something to eat to restore your heart, and wait until later in the day.” So the two of them shared a meal. |
