19. Formal Translation And Aaron spoke to Moses, “Behold, today they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Judge}; but such things as these have happened to me. If I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been good in the eyes of the LORD?” |
19. Dynamic Translation Aaron said to Moses, “Look, today they brought their sin offering and burnt offering before the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Authority}, but events like these have happened to me. Would the LORD have approved if I had eaten the sin offering today?” |
