| 13. Formal Translation And any man of the sons of Israel, or from the stranger who sojourns among them, who hunts prey—animal or bird—that may be eaten, shall pour out its blood and cover it with dust. |
| 13. Dynamic Translation If any Israelite or a foreigner living among you hunts wild animals or birds that can be eaten, they must pour out the blood and cover it with earth. |
