Formal Translation But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the festival of the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Festival Giver} for seven days; on the first day shall be a complete rest, and on the eighth day shall be a complete rest. |
| 39. Dynamic Translation However, beginning on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have brought in the harvest of the land, celebrate the festival of the LORD {Yahweh, Festival Sovereign} for seven days; the first day is a special rest day, and the eighth day is a special rest day. |
