Formal Translation And the ones remaining among you, I {Yahweh, Divine Discipliner} will bring faintness {morekh: trembling, loss of courage} into their heart in the lands of their enemies, and the sound of a driven leaf will pursue them, and they will flee as one flees from the sword, and they will fall though there is no one pursuing. |
| 36. Dynamic Translation For those of you who survive, I {Yahweh, Fear-Inducer} will make your hearts tremble in the lands of your enemies. Even the rustling of a leaf will send you running—you will run as if escaping a sword, and you will stumble and fall, even though no one is pursuing you. |
