| 10. Formal Translation He must not exchange it nor substitute it, good for bad or bad for good; and if he does indeed substitute an animal for an animal, both it and its substitute shall be holy. |
| 10. Dynamic Translation He is not allowed to swap a good animal for a bad one or a bad one for a good; but if he does exchange one animal for another, both the original and its replacement become holy. |
