| 16. Formal Translation And if a man dedicates part of his inherited field to the LORD {Yahweh, Recipient of Offerings}, then your valuation shall be according to its seed, namely a chomer of barley seed, valued at fifty shekels of silver. |
| 16. Dynamic Translation If someone dedicates part of their ancestral field to the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Owner}, the value you set will depend on its sowing capacity; for a chomer of barley seed, the price is fifty shekels of silver. |
