28. Formal Translation
Nevertheless, every devoted thing that a person devotes to the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Recipient} from all that is his, whether of a person, an animal, or a field of his possession, shall not be sold and shall not be redeemed; every devoted thing is most holy to the LORD.
28. Dynamic Translation
But anything that someone devotes by ban to the LORD {Yahweh, Supreme Owner}, from all that belongs to him—whether a person, an animal, or a field from his property—cannot be sold or redeemed; every devoted item is supremely sacred to the LORD.
