8. Formal Translation And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and he shall slaughter it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall splash its blood on all sides of the altar. |
8. Dynamic Translation He is to place his hand on the head of his animal offering and kill it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron’s sons must splash its blood against every side of the altar. |
