1. Formal Translation And if a person sins by hearing a spoken oath and he is a witness—whether he saw the matter or came to know it—if he does not declare it, then he shall bear his iniquity. |
1. Dynamic Translation If anyone sins by hearing a summons under oath and is a witness—whether they saw it or learned of it—but does not speak up, that person will bear the responsibility. |
