Leviticus 5:11:1וְאִם־לֹא־תַשִּׂיג יָדוֹvehimlohtaseegyahdohBut if his hand does not reach
Leviticus 5:11:2לִשְׁתֵּי תֹרִים אוֹ לִשְׁנֵי בְנֵי־יוֹנָהlihshteytohreemohlihshneybehneyyohnahfor two turtledoves or for two young pigeons Leviticus 5:11:3וְהֵבִיא אֶת־קָרְבָּנוֹvehheveeehtkorbanohand he shall bring his offering Leviticus 5:11:4אֲשֶׁר חָטָאahsherkhatahthat he sinned Leviticus 5:11:5עֲשִׂירִית הָאֵיפָה סֹלֶת לְחַטָּאתasireethaheyfahsohletlehkhattaata tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering Leviticus 5:11:6לֹא־יָשִׂים עָלֶיהָ שֶׁמֶןlohyahseemahlehhashehmenhe shall not put oil on it Leviticus 5:11:7וְלֹא־יִתֵּן עָלֶיהָ לְבֹנָהvehlohyittenahlehhalehvohnahand he shall not put frankincense on it Leviticus 5:11:8כִּי חַטָּאת הִוא׃keekhataatheefor it is a sin offering
11. Formal Translation
And if his hand cannot reach two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then he shall present as his offering for the sin he has committed a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a sin offering. He shall not put oil upon it, nor shall he place frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.
11. Dynamic Translation
If he lacks the resources to bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he must offer a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as his sin offering. He must not add olive oil or any frankincense to it, because it remains a sin offering.
