Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Leviticus 5:13:1 ⧉וְכִפֶּ֣רvehkhippershall make atonement Leviticus 5:13:2 ⧉עָלָ֔יוalavfor him Leviticus 5:13:3 ⧉הַכֹּהֵ֖ןhakohenthe priest Leviticus 5:13:4 ⧉עַל־חַטָּאת֣וֹalkhattatofor his sin Leviticus 5:13:5 ⧉אֲשֶׁר־חָטָאasherkhatawhich he committed Leviticus 5:13:6 ⧉מֵאַחַתmehahkhatfrom one of Leviticus 5:13:7 ⧉מֵאֵלֶּהmehellehthese Leviticus 5:13:8 ⧉וְנִסְלַ֣חvehnislakhshall be forgiven Leviticus 5:13:9 ⧉לוֹ֒lohim Leviticus 5:13:10 ⧉וְהָיְתָ֞הvehhahyehtahshall be Leviticus 5:13:11 ⧉לַכֹּהֵ֣ןlakohenfor the priest Leviticus 5:13:12 ⧉כַּמִּנְחָ֔ה׃סkaminkhaaas the grain offering |
13. Formal Translation And the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin committed from any one of these, and it shall be forgiven him; and the remainder shall belong to the priest just as the grain offering. |
13. Dynamic Translation Then the priest will make atonement for that person for any of the sins they have committed, and they will be forgiven; the remainder of the offering will go to the priest. |
