4. Formal Translation Or if a soul swears to utter with the lips, to do evil or to do good, in anything that a person utters by oath, and it is hidden from him, then he knows and is guilty of one of these. |
4. Dynamic Translation Or if anyone swears an oath, thoughtlessly saying something with their lips—to harm or to help—in anything a person might promise in an oath, and it is concealed, but then they realize it, they are guilty of one of these. |
