Leviticus 6:12:1וְהָאֵ֥שׁvehaeshand the fire

12. Formal Translation
And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning in it; it shall not go out. And the priest shall burn wood upon it each morning, and he shall arrange the burnt offering upon it, and shall kindle upon it the fat of the peace offerings.
12. Dynamic Translation
The fire on the altar must remain continuously ablaze and must never be extinguished. Each morning the priest will add wood, set the burnt offering in place, and burn the fat portions of the peace offerings on it.
