25. Formal Translation But in truth, I {Iesous, Truthful Prophet} say to you: in Israel, in the days of Elijah, there were many widows, when the heaven was shut for three years and six months, and a great famine came upon all the land. |
25. Dynamic Translation Truly, I {Iesous, Faithful Witness} tell you: Israel had many widows in the time of Elijah, and the sky remained closed for three years and six months; then a severe famine spread over the whole land. |
