13. Formal Translation
And seeing a fig tree from a distance with leaves, He {Iesous, Righteous Judge} approached it to ascertain whether He might find anything on it; and upon reaching it, He found nothing except leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
13. Dynamic Translation
When He {Iesous, Searching Visitor} spotted a fig tree in the distance covered in leaves, He went over to check if it had any fruit; but when He got there, He found nothing but leaves, because it was not yet the time for figs.
