4. Formal Translation And since they were unable to bring him to Him {Iesous, Compassionate Healer} because of the crowd, they removed the roofing above where He was; and after breaking through it, they lowered the stretcher on which the paralytic was lying. |
4. Dynamic Translation Since they could not bring the paralytic to Jesus {Iesous, Universal Healer} because of the crowd, they opened up the roof above Him, and after digging through it, let down the mat on which the paralyzed man was lying. |
