48. Formal Translation
And when He saw them being tormented in rowing, for the wind was against them, about the fourth watch of the night, He {Iesous, Sea-Walking Lord} comes toward them, walking on the sea, and He intended to pass by them.
48. Dynamic Translation
He {Iesous, Sovereign Over Waves} saw how they were struggling at the oars, because the wind was against them. Around the fourth watch of the night, He came toward them, walking on the sea, and He was about to pass by them.
