11. Formal Translation
But you say, “If a man says to his father or to his mother, ‘Korban,’ that is, a gift—that is, whatever you might gain from me {Christos, Divine Teacher} is given to God.”
11. Dynamic Translation
But you say that if someone declares, “Whatever you might benefit from me is Korban, that is, given to God {Theos, Divine Recipient}.”
