And He said to them, “Elijah does come first and restores all things; then why is it written concerning the Son of Man that He must suffer many things and be despised?”
12. Dynamic Translation
He replied, “Elijah truly comes first and restores everything. So why does Scripture say that the Son of Man must suffer greatly and be regarded as worthless?”
