Now the birth of Jesus Christ {Iesous Christos, Promised Messiah} came about in this way: after His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be pregnant from the Holy Spirit {pneuma hagion, Divine Agent}.

This is how the birth of Jesus Christ {Iesous Christos, Incarnate Savior} took place: Mary, His mother, was engaged to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be expecting a child through the Holy Spirit {pneuma hagion, God’s Holy Spirit}.
