If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and from living on my own terms. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Be my Lord and my Savior, make me new, and lead me in your truth, integrity, and peace. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord

Lord, revive your Church so we handle painful situations with truth and tenderness. Save us from gossip, public shaming, and harsh speech. Make us people of integrity who protect dignity and seek wise, private peace where we can, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in Integrity and Mercy

Thank God for Joseph's quiet integrity; thank him that righteousness does not have to be cruel; thank him that mercy can be steady and discreet; thank him for the gift of protecting another person's dignity.

Thank You for Quiet Wisdom

Father, I confess that I have sometimes wanted to protect myself by exposing others. Forgive my impulse to shame, to speak too soon, or to make my side look better in public. Give me a cleaner heart and a gentler way, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Harshness

First, tell God the facts as you know them. Then ask him for a private, dignified way to move forward, and ask him to keep you from embarrassment, gossip, or revenge.

Pray for: a person facing blame or embarrassment; a wise counselor who will protect dignity; and the grace to speak truth without adding shame.
