So what the Lord had said would come to completion

So the prophet would become more important than the message

So the events would merely confirm a human guess

So God's earlier word would be replaced by a new one

Treat God's spoken word as dependable and let it shape your choices

Wait until circumstances feel settled before taking God's word seriously

Assume God's promises work automatically without paying attention

Listen for God's word mainly to confirm what you already want

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I trust you as the Lord who keeps God's word, and I confess you as my Lord and Savior. Come into my life and lead me in your truth. Amen.

Receive the Lord Who Keeps His Word

Lord, revive your Church to trust your word with fresh faith. Where we have doubted, make us steady; where we have become casual, make us attentive; where we have delayed obedience, make us quick to follow. Let us live as people who believe you complete what you say, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
