Receive the Peace of Christ

Lord, revive your Church with the peace of Christ. Make us gentle carriers of blessing, quick to offer peace and slow to take offense. Heal homes, soften hardened hearts, and teach us to release the result to you when peace is not received, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Carry Peace

Father, let your peace settle on the places I enter, and teach me to let it return without bitterness when it is refused. Make my words calm, my spirit humble, and my heart free from pressure to control the outcome, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray by naming one home, conversation, or relationship, ask God to let his peace rest there, and then ask for grace to release the result to him whether it is welcomed or not.

Thank God that his peace can be offered without fear and without force. Give thanks for every place where peace is received, and for the freedom to let it go when it is not.
