Lord, revive your church where we have loved comfort more than Christ. Free us from fear, make us bold to lose our lives for your sake, and let us find true life in you. Rekindle costly obedience and joyful trust among your people, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Your Church to Costly Faith

Father, when I grip my plans, reputation, or safety too tightly, help me release them to Jesus. Give me courage to choose his way when it costs me, and remind me that what I surrender to him is never wasted, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Help Me Release My Grip

Thank you, Lord, that losing life for your sake is not the end but the path to true life. Thank you that in Christ, surrender is met with your faithful promise. Teach me to trust that promise when obedience feels costly, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for True Life

Pray by naming one area where you are trying to protect yourself first. Ask Jesus what obedience looks like there, then ask for courage to take one concrete step today.

Pray About One Area of Self-Protection

Pray for someone facing pressure to choose safety over faithfulness. Ask God to give them clear eyes, courage to obey Jesus, and the grace to value him above fear and reputation.
