If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and from trusting myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord and ask you to save me and lead my life. Help me receive you with faith and follow you today. Amen.

Receive Jesus

Father, revive your Church to be humble, teachable, and ready to receive what you say. Free us from pride, from clinging to our expectations, and from missing the way you fulfill your promises. Make us quick to welcome your Son and faithful to respond, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People Ready to Receive

Pray by naming one area where you struggle to accept God's truth. Ask him for a willing heart, then write down one change you will make if his word challenges you today.

Pray for a Teachable Heart

Father, when your truth surprises me, keep me from hardening my heart. Give me the grace to receive correction, the humility to listen, and the courage to obey what you show me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Open My Heart

Thank God that he keeps his promises, sends the right messenger at the right time, and fulfills what he has spoken even when people are slow to understand. Give thanks for the ways he is faithful beyond expectation.

Thank You for Keeping Your Word

Pray for someone who finds it hard to receive God's word: that their heart would become open, their pride would loosen, and they would recognize what God is doing. Ask the Lord to give them patience, clarity, and willingness to respond.
