If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you tired and weighed down. I admit that I have sinned, tried to carry life on my own, and cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord. Give me the rest only you can give, and lead my life from this day forward. Amen.

Come to Jesus for Rest

Father, renew your Church where we have become frantic, self-reliant, and burdened by things you never asked us to carry. Call us back to your Son, teach us to receive his rest, and make us a people who live and serve from peace instead of pressure. Wake us up to trust you again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your People with Rest

Lord, for anyone who feels exhausted and weighed down today, bring a real sense of your nearness. Give relief where the load feels too heavy, and help them receive the rest you freely offer, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Rest for the Weary

Pray by naming one burden you are carrying, asking God to meet you in it, and telling him where you need rest more than you need control. Then ask him for one simple next step of trust today.

Pray with Your Burden in View

Give thanks for the kind of rest God gives: rest that does not depend on earning, proving, or pretending. Thank him for inviting the weary, for noticing the burdened, and for being able to lift what you cannot.

Thanks for Rest We Can Receive

Bring to God one person who is carrying more than they can handle. Ask for a way to help them this week, to listen without fixing, and to point them gently toward the rest Jesus offers.
