10. Formal Translation
And behold, there was a man with a withered hand; and they questioned Him {Iesous, Questioned Healer}, saying, “Is it lawful on the Sabbaths to heal?” so that they might accuse Him.
10. Dynamic Translation
There was a man there with a shriveled hand, and they pressed Him with a question: “Is healing permitted on the Sabbath?” They asked this so they could accuse Him {Iesous, Contested Authority}.
