If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived against your will. I turn from my sin and from every hard place in my heart. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, ask you to forgive me, and receive me as your own. Lead my life from this day forward. Amen.

Receive the One They Rejected

Lord, when your people face hostility, do not let us harden, panic, or plot in return. Revive your Church with holiness, courage, and a steady love for Jesus that does not flinch under opposition. Make us faithful, gentle, and strong, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church Under Pressure

Father, when I feel opposed or misunderstood, keep me from fear, bitterness, or revenge. Give me a quiet heart, a clear mind, and the grace to keep doing what is right, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Guard Me from Bitter Reactions

Bring to God any defensiveness, suspicion, or desire to control the outcome. Ask him to expose where your heart has started to resist what is good, and to give you a softer, teachable spirit.

A Soft Heart Before God

Pray by naming the people who oppose you or the Christian faith. Ask God to guard your response, bless them, and show you a wise, peaceable next step.

Pray for Those Who Oppose You

Thank God for Jesus' courage to keep moving toward his mission even when people plotted against him. Give thanks that his faithfulness was stronger than human hostility, and that his patience still invites enemies to become friends.
