Receive Jesus with a Humble Heart

Lord, revive your church to value your name above our own recognition. Make us quick to obey when you ask us to be quiet, wise when you ask us to speak, and faithful when no one is watching. Let every ministry, message, and act of service point to Jesus alone, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church from Self-Promotion

Father, I confess that I often want to be noticed. Forgive me for using good things to draw attention to myself. Give me a quiet, obedient heart that is content to serve without applause, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Turning from the Need to Be Seen

Thank God for Jesus' wise authority and for the grace that teaches us the value of hidden obedience. Praise him for every unseen act of faithfulness that still matters to him.

Thanks for Hidden Faithfulness

Pray by naming one situation where you are tempted to promote yourself. Ask God for restraint, for wisdom about when to speak, and for one quiet act of obedience you can do today.

Pray for Quiet Obedience

Pray for Christians, leaders, and ordinary believers who speak about Jesus in public. Ask God to keep their words clear, their motives pure, and their witness free from self-promotion, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
